Small Seeds

What happens when we plant small seeds? If we take care of the seeds, they will grow into something big and beautiful...like a giant pumpkin that wins a blue ribbon at the county fair.

Every big idea started out as just small seeds.

It’s no secret we live in an instant gratification world. We want to have it now, and see it now, but giving our hard-earned money to a cause doesn’t always mean we will see instant results. Giving to any cause is an investment in future results.

Even if we never see the fruit of the small seeds we planted, somebody out there is reaping the harvest…because of you, and me.

Because we did what we could.

Because we said ‘yes’ when others said ‘not now’.

When we share our blessings, we honor the Lord, and bring hope to those who need it most.

When we plant small seeds, we are making the world a better place.

“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He may give to you.” John 16:15

All of these SMALL SEEDS listed below started by doing one small thing, until their idea grew bigger than they ever dreamed. They planted their small seeds. one. at. a. time.

It takes hard work to grow our small seeds, but it takes something even more valuable…faith.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
