SONY DSC stanley lakeLiving in a big city I feel like I am not really ever alone. Sure, I can be alone in my home, but when at the park, or on a walking trail, I always meet people there enjoying the same trail/park. And, it feels weird if I don’t see people at the park.

On this day it was cold, wet and snowy, so I was the only car in the parking lot. I was the only person on the lake trail listening to the Prairie Dogs barking out warnings. On the one hand I was taking in the beauty of the lake and sleeping foliage. One the other, it just felt strange to be alone in the city. Is that weird?

No. Wait. I think I know the answer to that.
