The Wright Cause to fight cancer

On May 10th we will be putting on our walking shoes to participate in Wildcats for the Wright Cause fundraising walk at Woodrow Wilson Academy in Westminster, CO. This event was created to help teacher John Wright, who was diagnosed with Leukemia. Mr. Wright lost his battle with the disease in 2011 but his memory still lives on in this annual walk to benefit others in the WWA family who are fighting cancer.

Please watch this touching video below. Just have your Kleenex ready.

This year’s event will be held on Friday, May 10th at WWA.  The two mile walk begins at 4 p.m., and there will be music, food, and more held on the grassy field until 7 p.m.  We have a new t-shirt design this year, as well as some great activities after the walk. All are welcome, so invite your friends and family to come and join you as we walk for a great cause!

If you would like to support this great cause, please go to the WWA website to register today!
