Lazy Friday

Today I dropped the girls off at school, took a 40 minute walk, cleaned the black lab hair off the floor (sweep, Swiffer, & vac), cleaned the bathroom sink and shower, loaded & unloaded the dishwasher, started two loads of laundry, shopped at Costco for steaks, then I finally relaxed.

Is that bad? Not even close to an eight-hour day. I do feel guilty…sometimes.

Later I will pick up the girls, get them a snack before we head out to the rink for another practice for Alex.

I did a quick photo assignment: 50mm indoors.

I am calling these shots “Lazy Dogs”. I think Rocco sleeps more than a cat. He takes the award for the most lazy dog.

And, Thor is a close second!

Last night my number one mother-in-law dropped by this cake…and there were cookies too. Sunday is our 17th wedding anniversary. Seventeen.

This weekend: a small feast of ribeyes and other yummy stuff for our neighbors. Because after 17 years, why go out? Just kidding. Next weekend will be our date weekend. We are planning to see the new Bourne movie (finally!).
