It was another busy weekend again. Why are weekends so busy? Shouldn’t we be slowing down and resting for the upcoming week? As always, we started Saturday off at the ice rink. Parker passed her skating test to advance to the next level.
We bought some bling to put on Alex’s competition dress. We are borrowing the heat tool from a neighbor but I think I need to buy me one of these things.
I added some rhinestones to Parker’s skate dress too.
I ended up adding some bling to Rocco’s new collar. I had Rocco groomed this weekend and now his handmade collar I received from Kathleen doesn’t fit! I think he lost 5 pounds with all the hair we shaved off. I am afraid we may become be dazzling fools. Yes, Rocco is a boy and, yes, real boys wear pink. There is nothing wrong with it.
We watch “The Girls with the Dragon Tattoo” Saturday night. I was so excited for this movie to come out on DVD. We do not get to the theater, ever. I could not get into the book, which was disappointing for me. Excellent movie. A bit twisted. Suspenseful. I am still mad about the ending. I won’t spoil it for anyone except to say I am a happy ending kind of girl.
We cleaned out the plant beds and sand pit. That was a lot of work but it looks so much better. We are ready for spring!
Grocery shopping at Target and Costco.
Four loads of laundry wash and hung up. I am tired.
The plum tree (above) and the Quince (below) are in bloom. I had to take an allergy pill.
Tonight: Hamburger sliders, sweet potato fries & blackberries. Frozen Planet on Discovery Channel. If you haven’t watch this new series yet…DO!
