The first dream I had (a few weeks ago) I was just telling people I was pregnant. The second (a few nights ago) I was delivering the baby in a hospital. I held the baby. Was it a boy or girl? I don’t know, but it was cute. Then, last night I dreamed that I felt the baby kicking and moving. Anyone who has ever been pregnant knows that feeling. That unbelievably wonderful feeling of the baby kicking. I woke up startled. Was that a dream or real?
In no way, shape or form do I desire to be pregnant. I can’t even handle the two kids that I have now. And if it turns out I am pregnant? Then that doctor that performed dear ‘ol hubby’s vasectomy has some explaining to do! So what does this dream of pregnancy mean? Before I ran out to buy a pregnancy test I decided to Google it. Thankfully, it doesn’t mean what I thought. Whew.
“Actually, pregnancy dreams for women are pretty common, and they usually represent new beginnings, renewed connections with others, changes in your life or career, or something in the future you’re looking forward to. Being pregnant in your dream is usually a positive thing, and indicates that you’re growing in your life or in a relationship. It can also be a symbol for how you’re blossoming creatively or spiritually.” (From tressugar.com – More about that here.)
Creativity is good. Spiritual stuff is good. I believe I am going to sleep more soundly tonight.
