To my oldest daughter,
You are my favorite. You introduced me to the world of motherhood. Together we navigated potty training and riding a bike. I love that I was the one who primarily taught you to ride your bike without training wheels…3 days of running behind you in the street, it was so worth it. I love how you want special mommy-time with me even if it is going to the grocery store. I love your caring heart. I love how you leave me little love post-it notes on my bedroom mirror. I love hearing from your teachers how special you are, even though I already know. You have a determined spirit. I have watched you now for 4 years learning to ice skate. You have never stopped trying and work hard on the ice. I admire you for that. I love our nightly ritual of “I love you.” “I love you more.” “I love you super-sonic more.” “I love you super-sonic-duper more.” “I love you all the way to the moon.” “I love you all the way to the moon, 100 times.” And so on we continue to prove who loves who more. We waited so long for you to join our family and it wouldn’t be complete without you. I love when you are in a fantastic mood, you are a joy to be around. I love looking at you. You are absolutely my favorite child.

To my youngest daughter,
You are my favorite. You came along as a surprise, but it was the best surprise I have ever had. I love how you tell me that you love me. I love how you look into my eyes and play with my hair. I love your tan lines and how you wear your swimsuit even in the coldest of weather. You were the sweetest baby, your cries were never loud. I love how you hug me like you are never going to let go. I love our nightly ritual of “pinkie promise” to love each other more. “I love you.” “I love you more.” “Pinkie promoise?” You will always be my baby even though you insist you are not a baby anymore. I love watching you keep up with your older sister. You have an adventurous spirit. You’re not afraid to try anything “dangerous”. You round out our family completely. I love your giggles, they are contagious. I love how you say your favorite food is broccoli even though you never eat it when I fix it for dinner. You have the sweetest smile that brightens up the darkest room. You are beautiful inside and out. I love how I can see Daddy in your face. You are absolutely my favorite child.
I LOVE waking up and logging in on Mondays……You just make my whole week! I wish I would have had you around when I was raising my children ,Mom did her best, but with & kids in those days?(silly,I know).
